Have noticed discrepancies in the PayPal exchange rates for some time but
I just did an order that was $726.20 USD and looked up current exchange rate at 991.7636 ( 1 CAD = 0.7423 USD) . Paypal Exchange rate $1,023.55 CAD = $736.20 USD1 CAD = 0.7193 USD
$1,023.55 - $9[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]CAD that is quite a difference . WHY?
If you look on google you can see the rate for rate exchange values.
However if you go to buy holiday money you would not pay that rate you would pay a rate that gave a profit to the company getting that currency for you.
Same with paypal, if they are doing currency exchange for you then they make a profit on it.
