I received an email from Paypal saying my phone number had been verified. At this stage I hadn't set up an account yet. I tried to log in to check and it says there was no account registered with my email. How did they get my email address and phone number then? I checked also to see if it was a real Paypal email and it seems genuine as it uses my full name.
