Ebay invoice

I made an offer on vehicle on Ebay . It was a classified ad. I've received an email with a pay pal invoice. It has a link to Pay pal live chat. Its asks me to transfer money to a "holding"  bank account by EFT. Is this normal. How can I check if the invoice is real.

Sounds like a scam to me BUT your best bet is to post this on the Ebay forums as its an Ebay transaction.
