Currently I have Paypal Business account type, and Paypal keep sending me notification to enter GST number. But I don't have any GST Number as I am just a web freelancer.
Please help me what to do? Should I apply for GST or downgrade to Paypal personal? If downgraded, still I am able to received payment?
From my understanding it is optional. Just click OK and dismiss the notification. Not providing the GSTIN means you can't claim the tax credit on the GST charged on your PayPal fees but you're still charged GST on your PayPal fees whether you have a business account or a personal account.
