Does Refunding payment include the fee charged?

A friend sent me money in error. If I refund it will she also get the fee refunded that she was charged?

As we don't have all the details - it's kind of a guess here here.   For example assuming you and your friend have PayPal accounts in the same country and your friend used her credit card as the funding source - she would be charged a fee of 2.9% + $.30 on the total amount - if the funding source was from her PayPal Account or Bank Account, there would be no fees.   I believe she will get the fee returned minus the additional $.30.
