Data missing from PayPal activities

I made a purchase, and was charged, but nothing is showing up in my recent transactions. This is my first time using PayPal. The help page says that missing data is usually because of system issues at PayPal, but everything seems operational. I think this issue may be linked to how the purchase was made when I was in the process of verifying my account. Is there any way to get my transaction history up to date? Any advice/info on this would be helpful.
