You should have buyer protection for non receipt of item but I don't think custom made items are covered for not as described disputes.
Your best bet is to go and read up on buyer protection in paypals user agreement so you can risk assess your transaction.
Many thanks for your reply, my concern is that the item comes in two parts so I am worried in case the first part arrives but the second part does not.
I am not too worried about "not as described" just that it does not arrive.
