Hello, I'm in Canada and opened my PayPal account in Canada. I also linked a US based bank account and credit card to the account as I wanted to pay for and charge money to US based customers. Each time I make a payment to a friend which should be free since it is coming out of my bank account directly, I get this cross border fee added on. I called multiple times and am told this is the policy as it is a cross border account. I don't agree with this as the bank linked to the a count is not cross border. There no currency exchange required. I see this as an unfair cash grab. Any thoughts?
