1. When I sell something on E-bay and they pay it to my paypal account am I charged again by Paypal for receiving that money. 2 When someone (private) pays money into my paypal account are you usually charged for receiving that money, as it shows I have had to pay something. Plus it is easier getting hold of the Pope than paypal

Yes of course, paypal isn't free, if it was how would they fund the service they provide and pay their staff every month !!
