"If your eligible purchase doesn’t arrive, or doesn’t match the seller’s description, we can reimburse you."
The part "doesn’t match the seller’s description" is a little odd because when i pay for goods there is no seller's description, i can only add a note and describe the item myself.
So if the item arrives different to the one i discussed with the seller, i am still protected right?

Just to add, this is neither eBay or Gumtree, i met a seller on a forum, we both agreed on price and they also sent me images of the item.

best to get the seller to send you a money request or invoice fully describing the item you are purchasing?
