Close business account

Now retired how do I close my PayPal business account and have just a personal account?

You can either contact customer services and 'downgrade' your business account to a personal account

OR

Click on settings (icon next to log out) and the close account option is on the left side of that page.

Make sure you REMOVE all cards / bank accounts first and end any subscriptions etc.

Then you can open a personal paypal account.
