Check cashing

I tried to cash my pay check like have the past 2 weeks in a row before this and the third party ingo has cashed it however PayPal is holding it for some reason and I'm getting the run around when I call to inquire about it

If you paid no fee to cash the check, the funds will be available in 10 days provided the check is not returned unpaid within the 10-day period. Otherwise, not sure what sort of "hold" it could be because it is not a commercial payment.

In that case, PayPal is reviewing it (a formality) and after that they will release it.
