Hi all, I was wondering if any of you could help me. I’m currently having a clear out and selling a few bits on Facebook, one person I sold to asked to pay via PayPal, so I said yes. They messaged me saying they had payed, so I went and checked and I have been charged a fee. I’m not a business, so why did I get charged?

You pay a fee if you are selling an item and using paypal to receive the funds. Thats how paypal makes its money !!
You pay a fee regardless of account type if you are receiving payments from buyers.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
