Card keeps on being linked to another account, although it has been removed already.

HI everyone. 

my card was linked to one account, from which I have removed the card already. 

however, when linking to another account, it keeps on telling me it is linked to an account. 

I dont see, what can be done and where to search?

What can be done?

You may need to wait 72 hours for the system to play catch up before you can add it again.

Waited longer than 72h (about 2 weeks) and nothing happened. 🙂

Tried calling Paypal help line, no luck (every time i use the 6 digit code "security code" generate by website, it tells its invalid).  

My telefone numbers (non-US) are not recognises either. So i have given up phone calls. 

The most interesting, is that I tried linking the card back to the account where it used to be linked, and it got "linked" perfectly. 

Tried removing it again - OK. 

Linking to new account - no luck. Again same message "your card is linked to another account etc etc". 😞🙄
