Cancelled invoice by mistake - it's already paid

I cancelled an invoice by mistake that had already been paid. Will this cause any problems with the transaction  - for example will the money be refunded to the client? Will the client get some kind of notification? Just wondering if I have to take some action.

Hi @sandy-girl

 

Marking an invoice as "paid", "completed" or "canceled" is just for record keeping. If the client already paid you the requested amount, marking the invoice has "canceled" will not refund the transaction. I hope this helps!
