I keep getting this text but cannot confirm if it is real or what to do with it once I log onto PayPal:

PayPal: Enter your code on the PayPal website. CODE: 590542. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out here! Sorry if this messaging has caused confusion! 

You should only receive a text with a code from us if you are making an action on your account. This could include signing in to the account, updating profile information, or making a payment. if the text is from us, you might want to update your password if you have not completed an action on your account. You can do this in the Settings section.
