Hi, i want to buy a loose diamond on jewellery site.
The diamond come with a certification and it is seal in a package with a certificate (Not GIA, its some gem lab in thailand). On the package, it state " if the seal is open, the certification will be void" . Something like that.
So if i open the package ( broke the seal ) and send it to lab to exam the diamond.
If the report come back as fake diamond, will the paypal buyer protection help me?
I remember the policy said the item must not be altered. In this case, i open the package and broke the seal.
Please help, i just want to make sure i won't get scam
Thanks
