Hi. Just trying to clarify my rights as a buyer when paying via PayPal and collecting in person.
I’m potentially travelling 500 mile round trip to pick up a £4k item advertised as “ new but open and unused”. It will have therefore been paid for before I can check it is as advertised and not refurbished or a return.
would I be covered if this is the case ?
any help appreciated.
thanks.

No there is 0 buyer protection using paypal for items that are personally delivered or collected.
I would never use paypal I would prefer cash on collection after examining the item OR do a bank transfer again whilst your at the sellers house after seeing the item.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
