Hi all,
I have recently bought an item which is not as described and would like to send it back for a refund. The seller has already agreed to this but saying that the funds will only be refunded to me after the item is delivered back. Is there something in Paypal's policy that protects me in case the seller receives the item and does not process the refund?
Also what happens if the item is delivered to the seller after the date when i can escalate to Paypal? It seems like i would not have any recourse.
Thanks

As long as you send trackable then if you need to escalate to a claim you would have proof of delivery of the item back to the seller.
NEVER let a dispute time out, ALWAYS escalate, if you get a refund and the seller then gets their item back then it doesn't matter does it as they won't need to refund you will they, they will just have to pay paypal back again.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
