So I’m looking at buying x product from y person. We would like to use PayPal only so we don’t have to pay the 10% to sites. Obviously PayPal takes about 3% with the purchasing an item option I would use. My question: How does PayPal know what I am suppose to receive? How do I describe what I’m getting so if it doesn’t come as described I can get refunded. Thanks for the help

Get the 'seller' to send you a money request or invoice fully describing the item that they are selling and then you can check what they have written before you pay that invoice or money request.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.
