If I Pay for my order using PayPal does that mean that PayPal has confirmed that seller is authentic/legitimate??

Nope, paypal is just a payment processor that gives you 'some' buyer protection.

But its important to read up on that protection as its not a 100% coverall so that you can risk assess your own transactions.

Buyer beware really, take care who you buy from and watch out for scam China websites.
