hi, does anyone know is this legit: I am buying a phone from a seller on adverts.ie and he is charging postage and an extra 14 euro for PayPal customer protection. I've never done this before so I don't know if its legit.... I thought the buyer protection was free and even if It wasn't, would I not be paying PayPal the money and not the seller? thank you

Buyer protection is FREE, what he is charging you is HIS FEE for receiving paypal payments.
This is against paypal rules and can lead to his account being suspended if he is reported.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
