I am thinking of buying an item from a person selling an item in Denmark. But I keep reading that I am only covered "When buyers pay with PayPal on any website" I'm not buying from a website I'm buying from a person ... Is my purchase still covered ?
You have buyer protection for any 'payment' for a purchase whoever you buy it from.
However that protection is not a 100% guarantee of cover for everything, you need to go and read up on paypals buyer protection policy so you can risk assess your own transactions.
