Adding a bank account from another country

I have been trying to add a British bank account to my NZ PayPal account. Having read archived related topics I note that I have to create a new PayPal account in Britain and link the British bank account to that. However, can I use the same email address? Thanks

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / bank accounts / cards from within that country.

You are supposed to withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts before you leave your old country. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved.

However you 'should' be able to use the same email address as long as you successfully close your NZ paypal account first. Having said that some folks have had issues trying to do so but others have managed ok so can't guarantee that.

It has been a long and agonising process. Finally get the PayPal set up and now fighting to get the bank account linked to it. Thanks for your advice x
