Adding Funds from bank account.

I recently decided to add $290 from my bank account to my PayPal account and I was informed that the money will arrive in my PayPal in 16 days. However, I just made a purchase online and now my bank account does not have enough money for PayPal to transfer. The transfer is still pending right now, and I know that I cannot cancel it. Is it going to be a problem? Will I be charged? Or will the transfer automatically cancel once it sees that there isn’t enough money in my bank account?

If you haven't enough funds in your bank account to fund the transfer to your paypal account then it will just 'fail'.

As you are not paying anyone only adding funds to your balance then you won't owe paypal anything.

And as its not a negative balance its very unlikely paypal won't try again.
