My account has been limited and I have sent a picture of an ID . Do I need to send them anything else ? I'm 16 and I created this account a while back and I just now started using it whenever I got a debit card from the bank. I use this account to sell things online and now I can't buy things using my paypal account nor can I transfer money to my bank account.I've asked and they told me to go to the Resolution Center, and I don't know what kind of "information" I need to send. Any help???

If you are not 18 then you should not have a paypal account.

If you can't prove you are 18 then forget about your account it will stay limited.

So there is no way I can transfer all the money I have into my bank? I did not know I had to be 18+ years to have a paypal account honestly.

You can't verify your account because you are not 18 so sadly not.

Hi @BenitoGarciaJr

Once your account has been permanently limited, funds are released 180 days later. You will receive information about the final withdrawal of funds in the email which explains their decision to part ways.

If your account is not currently permanently limited, but still in request of documents, the 180 day period does not apply. You must inform PayPal Customer Service of your real date of birth.

Once an Account Specialist has formally closed the limitation appeal, the period required for release of funds will commence. You can click here to retrieve their contact number - this must be performed over the phone.

I must set your expectation that the limitation cannot be removed. Even if all of the requested documentation is submitted and verified, you are under 18 and therefore ineligible to use PayPal services.
