Account details scam

Hi there, I've just had someone texting mevia WhatsApp about an item I'm selling on Ebay asking me for my PayPal email address and full name. I now now that they were trying to scam me. With those details alone can they hack into my account?

If it was that easy then every email you sent to someone with your name signed at the bottom would mean you could be hacked !!!!!!

Unless you have given them your password then no.
