Account Approval when you living in another country of the accounts domain.

Hi there,

I am having a problem, trying to finish setting up my account, because when I first created my account, I was living in the U.K., but I never got around to fully setting it up (confirming addresses etc). I am now in Canada and can't get an up-to-date proof of address as I don't live in the U.K anymore. I have tried to contact PayPal's customer service, but they keep on sending me the link to 'remove limits' on my account. I can't complete the final step of 'proof of address' because of the reasons mentioned above. How may I get them to 'remove' the steps I have done in order to add my Canadian address or family's address from back home, so I can lift my limits and have full access to my account.

Regards,

Thomas

Paypal is country specific so if you move countries you have to open another paypal account in the country you reside in and add an address / phone number / and bank accounts from within that country.

You are supposed to withdraw any funds / resolve issues / remove cards and bank accounts before you leave your old country. If you don't then you may have problems doing so once you have moved.
