@TM131,

Oh no, we're so sorry to hear about your sister's experience!  If she hasn't yet done so, she'll need to dispute the charges with her card issuer.  I also recommend that she contacts our customer service teams for further assistance with locating the transactions.  She can click 'Contact Us' at the bottom of any of our pages to get a phone number to reach us at, or she can contact us on Twitter (https://twitter.com/askpaypal) or Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/PayPal).   My sincerest apologies for the inconvenience that this has caused!  😞

thanks but this isn't useful information 😞 my sister has spent over 15 hours on the phone with PayPal, and you all are not helping her! her bank (Chase) said to go through PayPal.

it's terrifying that any hacker can open a PayPal account, and steal from your bank. i don't understand why PayPal isn't helping... and they're trying to have us work with the bank instead. your system is open to fraudsters. this is terrible.
