Can anyone confirm tha[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]is actually paypal? I got one of those fake paypal e-mails. You can tell because, even though it appears to be from paypal, the actual return email address is something completely different. Anyway, the numbe[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]was also listed in the e-mail as Paypal customer service. I tried to look it up and I've gotten several responses that it's both spam and Paypal. And Paypal itself doesn't list this number. Just want to make sure the scammers didn't make it up and are answering it to gain info. There's someone doing that for Publisher's Clearinghouse right now. That's the way they answer the phone, but it's not them.

Hi,
If the phone number listed is on the PayPal.com verified website then yes it would be the correct phone number for PayPal and check with your mobile phone provider to see if there is any additional charges per minute for this phone but whenever I phone up its always free which it is anyway! 🙂
Thanks,
Harley <removed>

FAKE numbers are inserted into google search and pretend to be paypal customer services.
That is why paypal NEVER post their phone number on this forum.
The only way to get the real paypal customer services number is via help / contact bottom left of paypal pages.
The scammers will always try to get you to buy vouchers or ask for sensitive financial account information which Paypal customer services would never do.
@Insignia3D
Paypal do not post their phone number in emails sent.
