Verification Failed

Hi

 

I created an account with PayPal yesterday for the first time. So no-one could ever have used my email address or phone number before. But when I have tried to log in it won't let me, it just says:

We're sorry, we couldn't confirm it's you.

Need a hand? We can help
 
Now, it hasn't allowed me to verify who I am. I haven't had the chance to give them my passport, letter, etc, as they haven't asked for it and just won't let me log in. I would rather not make a call as I get nervous and anxious on the phone. It seems I need to log in to send an email to them, but obviously I can't, so what can I do please?!
