I'm not a business, but if I sell a personal item to a friend/acquaintance, is there a fee to Pay Pal? Thanks.

Probably. At this point I'm learning that PayPal doesn't care much about their customers. They're looking to skim that dollar off each and every transaction no matter who the seller is. Venmo would be better for transactions with friends.

If you are 'selling' then yes you pay a fee regardless of what account type that you have.
Fees are in paypals user agreement for your country.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
