I am unable to advise on the transaction's legitimacy, but from what you've stated, I recommend proceeding with caution. You can learn more about common scams and how to spot them on our Help Center. Regarding your pending payment, it sounds like it may have been placed on a Funds Availability Hold. You may have the option to release the hold early by supplying tracking that shows delivery. However, if the payment is only for shipping costs, you may want to refund them and have them send the total cost as one payment. I do not recommend shipping the item before you receive compensation for it.
