Hi There,
We have been using PayPal as a merchant for over 20 years and we frequently make transfers of US dollars from our PayPal account to our US dollar bank account held in the USA.
We have never been charged a fee for this but the PayPal transfer interface now tells me that there will be a 3% fee for this type of transfer.
Surely this can't be right? Please advise what I should do.
Many thanks, Colin

I have found the same. It is going to costs us thousands to keep using Paypal now. I have been trying to speak to someone in Customer service and have been told that this is a new fee going forward and there is no-one I can speak to about it and that they consider my issue 'resolved'. I spoke with Stripe this week and confirmed that they do not charge this fee, so after 12 years of working with Paypal we have decided to move platforms. I don't think Paypal really care about small businesses like ours, unfortunately.
