I'm seeing a lot of people with the same issue but no advice or resolution. I recently sold an item on Swappa and the net breakdown on my payment was as follows:
Item: $395.00
Tax: $32.59
Purchase total: $427.59
Fee -$12.70
Partner fee - $47.59
Total: $367.30
I have not found anywhere on Swappa's or PayPal's sites to explain why the "partner fee" is so high, especially on top of the other "fee." This is ridiculous. I wouldn't have used Swappa in the first place.
Has anyone else run into increased fees or any actual explanation of how this is derived?
