Paypal Express Chekout with Shopify giving error "Session Timed Out"

Hi! I have integrated the Paypal Express checkout with my Shopify store and I am now checking if Paypal is working well for payments
(for Paypal accounts and credit cards).

Every time, everything seems to work fine, until the very last step where it tells me that the session expired and I need to connect again.

I've tried 3 different browsers, with 2 debit cards, and my Paypal account seems to be well configured.

Any help would be appreciated, as I have no idea where the problem is coming from...

Hi, 

The error we're seeing on the logs is "CANNOT_PAY_SELF" which would indicate that you are using the same PayPal account as both the buyer and seller which you cannot do. I'm assuming the cards you're using are linked to the merchant account. Can you try using an account thats completely dicsonnected from the merchants PayPal account.

sir, how can I remove my buyer account from my seller account?

because I am using seller account for capturing payment on my store?

You would need to use a different account entirely. So set a new PayPal account that you use as buyer. 

If you want, you can remove funding sources from the merchant account and add them to the buyer account, but its messy doing it that way. You would be better off using a seperate funding source entirely.
