BN-Code?

I´m currently setting up a marketplace that works on the WCFM Woocommerce plugin.

During the setup, a BN code was requested, which I probably need to manage or pay out payouts and commissions.

However, I cannot find this BN code anywhere in my business account.
Client ID, Secret, merchant ID are all there, but this BN code doesn't appear anywhere 😄

Do I have to apply for it separately? And if so, how long does it take or does anyone have any experience?

PayPal-Partner-Attribution-Id :  Identifies the caller as a PayPal partner. To receive revenue attribution, specify a unique build notation (BN) code. BN codes provide tracking on all transactions that originate or are associated with a particular partner. To find your BN code, see Code and Credential Reference. 

BN code: Used in your API requests to identify the caller as a PayPal partner. Required for PayPal reporting. See PayPal-Partner-Attribution-Id for more information.

You should be able to access the sandbox BN code.

To get the LIVE BN code, you need to have a managed account and undergo a process. If your account is managed then you can check with your Account Manager, if not then you can firstly apply for PayPal Marketplace via page below and waiting for our relevant department's further response.

Once applied, relevant department will be reviewing your business details and contact you directly.

If your still facing issues, please create an MTS ticket via - https://www.paypal-support.com/s/?language=en_US  with the detailed information and error details.

Unfortunately and with regret, I found out that the Paypal Marketplace function is unfortunately not offered in Germany (according to the German PayPal support) and I was unfortunately forced to look for and use other solutions.
Unfortunately, I only found out about this after I filled out and sent the application form for the marketplace function 3 times in several weeks, but never received a response.

I would have liked to leave this job to Paypal, but unfortunately that wasn't possible.

Maybe we in Germany will have the opportunity to use Paypal Marketplace at some point, then I'll be happy to switch back 🙂

Hey 🙂

Unfortunately this doesn't work because I'm in Germany and can't create a Rest API app when I select a platform that runs under "Germany" because only the USA, UK, Italy, Spain, France, Canada and Australia are selectable.

As already mentioned, I sent the form (https://developer.paypal.com/docs/multiparty/#tell-us-about-your-platform) several times but never received any response. Therefore I think that I cannot use the “Papal Marketplace” function. But if so, I would of course be grateful 🙂
