how do i edit the drop down list of addresses that displays when paying for an item on paypal. if i am buying a gift for my sister, i do not want her old address to still show up on the drop down list.
If the address is in your PayPal account profile, login to your PayPal account, click on the "Profile" tab, click on the "Street Address" link in the left hand column and delete or edit the address.
If the address is in your "My eBay" account, login to your eBay account, click on the "Account" tab, select the "Addresses" link on the left side of the page, click on the "View all shipping addresses" text and remove, edit or add the address.
Thank you so much for your reply. I have done both of those things, but there's still a bunch of shipping addresses on the drop down list that are not in the ebay or paypal lists.
The drop down list appears when I am at the point in a purchase to tell the seller who to send mt purchased item to. It will show my address, then has the word 'change' if you are not wanting the item shipped to yourself. I click 'change' and there are several addresses that drop down at this point. Most of these addresses areduplicates, old, or have mistakes. The only way I have found to edit one is in the middle of paying for my purchase, and then all it does is add the edited address back on the list without erasing the original, so it keeps accumulating every change or typing error I have entered. The list is way too long. Is this memorized list in my browser perhaps or OS?
