Dissolved LLC, Need to get "LLC" off biz name

I originally opened my PayPal account under an LLC:

Niche Innovation LLC

For a variety of business reasons I will not go into here, I have dissolved the LLC.

The company name is now just Niche Innovation.

(Also, no longer in the Partnership category, just a sole proprietor.)

I could find nowhere to change the biz name, nor change type of business category.

Do I need to delete my account and start over, or is there a way to get those three letters off the legal name of the business, and change me to a sole proprietor?

Welcome to the Community .

It is very simple to update the business name on your PayPal account, there is no need to open a new PayPal account.

Here's how to change the name of your business: Log into your PayPal account, Click 'Profile' near the top of the page, Click 'My business info,' Click 'Update' next to 'Business information,' Click 'Change name' next to 'Business Contact Name,' Select 'Business Name Change (business name)' and click 'Continue,'  and Enter your new business name and click 'Continue.' (You can also update the business type on this screen).
