Hello
I have 2 paypal accounts and would like to close one of them. How do I go about transfering all of my transaction history as I MUST save this?

Hello PTChance,
Unfortunately, there is not a way to transfer all of your transaction history to a new PayPal account. Before closing the account I would recommend downloading all of the history to excel.

It worked great....Now I have another problem. The entire reason I have to delete this account is I moved to Canada 8 years ago and we started another account here, so I don't need this one any longer, plus the bank account attached to this account has been eliminated long ago. I no longer have any idea what that old bank account number was and no way of finding out, but that is what the system is asking for in order to remove my account.
What should I do now?

Hello PTChance,
I am sorry to hear you are unable to remove your bank account. I know this may a little bit of a pain, but are you able to call the bank to get the full bank account number? For security reasons the last four digits of the bank account will need to be verified to be removed. I know this is not what you want to hear but I hope my suggestion helps.

Hi Misty,
I'm experiencing major issues with my 3 accounts as I was trying to update the credit card information and now I get the same error everytime I try to enter my new card info.. I waited a few days thinking the card info I deleted might have to be updated in the system. Now I'm so frustrated because I can't even buy things online as a guest because I get the same error!?
Also, I keep clicking on Contact Us and it sends me to a Bad Gateway Error. Seriously what is up with PayPal at the moment? How long do you guys take to respond to emails (I sent one 5 days ago).

Welcome to the Community .
I would be a little frustrated as well in this situation. It sounds like the card was added to an account already and when you try to update the card the system recognizes it is already added. The reason you may be getting the same error when you try to use guest checkout is because if the card is attached to a PayPal account you will need to log into your PayPal account to use the card.
I would first suggest clearing your cache and cookies within your Internet browser to see if this helps when you click on the Contact Us link. Hopefully that will clear it up.
I would then suggest contacting PayPal directly to get this cleared up.

I have an account that have been blocked for some time ago... I open a new one and is working great......Need to change my other account to the email address is blocked..........I can't log in to close it.... How can I do this

Here’s how to close your PayPal account: Log in to your PayPal account, Click “Profile” near the top of the page, Click “Close Account” under “Account information,” Click “Continue,” Choose up to 3 reasons why you want to close your account and enter any additional information, Click "Continue," Click “Continue,” Click “Continue.” and Click "Close Account.”
