changing Primary e-mail account

okay so I think I may have come accross a scam, so i changed by primary e-mail account, does this mean that now all payments etc, will go through the new primary address, and what happenes to the old one, should I now delete it to be safe... is the old one still active?

Hello there!
You can certainly remove the old address, and anyone sending you payments from then on out would have to use your new email address (otherwise the payment won't arrive). If you don't normally accept payments, this won't be that big of a change.
If you do sell on eBay or your own website, you may need to update your buttons (if they're coded to direct payments to email address versus a unique merchant identifier) and/or your auctions. If you do click on "Sell Similar" on eBay in the future, make certain to double check and update the listed email address.
