So here is the jist:
We have a game that doesn\t allow IRL sales (like most games today) of any item in game. People sometimes do this in the shadows. However, we often get the random chance where when we get info, they spill the beans on others.
One sent in a paypal screenshot of a sale. Has transaction ID/etc. The other party is claiming it is falsly made, and then processed to make a ''fake'' receipt by modifying the source of a receipt he got and sent me in that. The thing is, is there any way to check what is real and what is false, even if they have to for example, send a receipt through paypal of a previous transaction (because of paypal sent it, it should be valid) or verifying through the transaction ID they gave me? Or is this pretty much at loss here.
