repeat customer sent an unexpected yet final payment after several months of purchasing. November 1,2018. Whap seconds after Funds on hold Unauthorized Transaction Review. on November 3,2018 supplied all requested information. November 7,2018 was informed Customer (Supposedly) Reported unauthorized (not True) . Contacted Customer personally November 10,2018. He States knows nothing and contacted PayPal himself and after being on hold and inconvenienced for over 2 hours contacted me to inform us the funds release within the Hour. Humph!! Still no Status Change What To Do.

An unauthorised transaction means that an account holders Paypal account was hacked and used without their consent by your ?buyer.

If Paypal check IP addresses etc and find in favour of the account holder then of course they are reimbursed.

However you would not lose out either as long as you met ALL the requirements of seller protection, so your best bet is to go and read up on it to make sure you were covered.

Yes, your correct. Matter of fact after much unneeded worry there seems to be something of a Fish Odour about the whole deal. in the end i agreed to reverse the Submission back and remitted a new invoice. I will keep you posted on the outcome.
