transaction on hold

Hello, 

I got money transferred from my friend  to my newly created Pay Pal account, but it is now on hold, and I cant make any payments through it. What steps should I follow to access the funds at the soonest (the website says I will get teh money available in 21 days)

Its down to how the payment was SENT to your account.

1. If they sent using money > goods / services option then paypal would see you as a seller and apply the new seller hold. They would also charge you a fee.

2. If they had sent using the send money > family / friends option then you would have had the payment instantly. (However that option is not available in every country).

@kernowlass  the money has been sent from Sudan(where my friend is) to Hungary (where I am in now)
