the money i sent to a friend is still pending

So i have sent some money to a friend, and it has been more than a week and its still pending, altough it showed up on my internet banking that the payment is complete and the money got charged from my card . Can i solve this somehow?

Ive been using paypal for years , but never sent money before, just used it to pay on websites. Also, my credit card is not verified yet, but it never asked for it, couldt this be the problem?

Sounds like an echeque.

Reasons for a payment being sent as an echeque are...

1. Card needs updating.
2. Recent neg balance.
3. Recent failed bank transfer.
4. High cost payment.
5. High risk transaction.
6. Some friends / family payments.

i dont think its an echeque. i dont have a bank account connected to my paypal, just a card . And no, i didnt have negative balanceand the amount i sent was very small

ok if its pending on just your paypal account and not on the receivers then yes it would not complete if you have not confirmed your card with the 4 digit code first.
