stuck "checking your info"

Making a purchase and paying with paypal is usually fast. Today its stuck on "checking your info". I want it to OK or reject the transaction not sit there for 15 minutes

Successful payd from eBay.ca site. I think on eBay.com security updates, so be patient, use eBay.ca on the moment.

Just pay from ebay.ca - all is good.

And yes I can't log in to PP from Ebay.com too. Problem is with page https://www.paypal.com/webapps/helios.

Reason: a continuous "Checking your info… ". But I can enter into my account (throught PayPal) without any problems  at: https://www.paypal.com without any problem.

P.S.:

I tryed pay from Windows 8.1 from another computer, also from windows7 and many many another notebooks. Yes, I tried clear casch, cookies and other manipulations. It not work.

So I'll pay from ebay.ca, because they use older form for check

Also can be answer from Ebay and PayPal community (wrote them both about 12 hours ago). Let you know if they "call" me.

This appears to be a JavaScript problem when using non-english language/OS:

https://www.paypalobjects.com/web/res/de8/417263b.../templates/HU/en/rememberMe.js

This gets a 404 likely because "HU/en" doesn't exist on the server and should be "US/en" instead.

I am having the same problem. "Checking your info" does not go away. I remember a few weeks ago I had this problem but it went away on the second attempt to pay. But now it does not. Is this a paypal or an ebay site issue? Please fix it as soon as possible, we are not able to make purchases on ebay using paypal.

Have had this issue for a few days now on eBay.co.uk as well. Might've been prevalent for longer though, thank god I lost that auction. eBay.ca works just fine on my end as well so I recommend anyone who's having issues with PayPal authorization to use eBay.ca.

Hi guys,

I found solution.

Follow these steps:

1. Login to PayPal account - http://www.paypal.com

2. Navigate to Profile -> Profile and settings -> My settings

3. Now, pick Security key option

On this step, you need to configure your security key (SMS to your mobile)

4. (Optional), If you want, for faster next login you can turn on PayPal One Touch in "Stay logged in for faster purchases" (last option on list)

5. Go to eBay cart, finish the purchase and login to your account with double security check (password + SMS code you will get to your phone)

That's it. 🙂

SOLUTION for mobile phone. In mobile app settings change country to CANADA, this will make mobile app work through ebay.ca. Solved.
