I sold an item and the buyer promptly paid. I used ebay labeling so the tracking was automatically listed. The package arrived, but my payment is still on hold several days later. How do I contact paypal to get the hold lifted. Thank you.

Paypal phones are mostly non operational since covid but sometimes you get lucky.
If there is one available it will show when you click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available in your country.
Live chat is randomly available.
You can send them a message.
Or have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.

This paypal thing is just an awful frauds, sold another item and they are keeping my money even when buyer already received his item i've sent to him........how is this allowed. can't even call them as well as apparently they can't deal with this issue at the moment.....

I tried Facebook, but couldn't get help due to security reasons. So I went to Chat on the PayPal site, posting the message that I wanted a response from a live person, as opposed to the canned responses. It took almost 24-hours to receive the response and being able to chat with a 'real' person. My funds were then released.

i sold an item and payment on hold until deliverd i updated the tracking which is now delivered and have received feeback - my acount says will be released 1 day after delivered 4 days now nothing, and cant get tto speak to a person only that daft bot on the web site or automated answers on phone. its becoming a joke does anyone have have an actual email address to email

Funds are normally released when any tracking number viewable online shows as delivered to the buyer + 1 day as long as you used one of Paypals supported carriers.
If that has all been complied with correctly then contact c.s. and ask them to release the funds manually for you.
