money missing

hello i received a payment and i got an email through PayPal saying that i did receive the money but it didn't ask me to accept it though ,and also i can't see it in my PayPal account so i can transfer it to my bank account. i only used this account twice to make purchases online. everything is up to date, and the email confirms that i did receive the money but still i can't see it anywhere in the website!

Are you sure the email was from paypal and not a scam or spoof?

Can you give us a gist of content without any personal info so we can tell?
