holding payments twice?

PayPal have recently held a payment I received whilst waiting for tracking confirmation, they held it for 5 days. It was cleared today and I went to withdraw it and they've put it on hold again for 72 hours! This is the 2nd withdrawal in a row they've done this with. Can they hold this payment again?? It'll be 8 days they will have had my money!!

1. New seller hold, if it was Ebay you used then its Ebays hold.........

However when a buyer pays you its never 'instant' paypal credit you the funds and paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer from the buyers bank account ie 5-7 working days in the UK, so even if you have to wait the 8 days for your funds it may still be quicker than having to wait for the buyers payment.

Also the 'new seller hold' does not last for long AND once you have done a few withdrawals you may find most of them complete in about 2 hours.
