hi! i’ve recently used paypal through a friend’s urging. so i joined and she sent me a small amount to start off tagged under personal transactions (for family and friends). unfortunately i got a message that it was held because sender might not have authorized said payment. i wrote to paypal and got definition of terms as a response and no resolution. i tried resolving the issue by using the resolution center. however, none of the situations are applicable to me since the money was a gift and not a payment. when i try to move on in the automated form online, i can’t push through because of the shipper’s address for comparison. as i said i didn’t sell her anything. i tried putting in my mobile number but even that was not the right number. i really don’t know what to do next. need advise. thank God it was just a small amount.
